Train services in Fife were disrupted this morning due to a landslip at Inverkeithing which caused damage to signal cables.

The incident stopped trains for an hour from 6.30am at Inverkeithing. A bus service was arranged at Inverkeithing, Perth and Dundee for passengers travelling to Edinburgh.

A ScotRail spokeswoman said, "We apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused due to circumstances outwith our control."
